Our Initiatives

Empowering persons with Intellectual Disability thereby ensuring that they live a life of dignity, has been the vision of Sulabha Trust for 45 years since its establishment in 1979. Sulabha Trust engages with community and offers services such as various therapies, Medical & Psychiatric Consultations and networking with other organization. It has also mentored teachers, interns, psychology students etc. A large number of our students have been made successfully financially independent.

SULABHA SPECIAL SCHOOL

The School has sanctioned strength of 85students who are between the ages of 3 and 18years of age. The school is registered with the Commissioner of disabilities ,Maharashtra State, Pune and receives grant in aid.

DEEPAK KUMAR LALJI CHHEDA SULABHA VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE

Deepak Kumar Laji Chedda Sulabha Vocational Training Centre for young adults with intellectual disabilities. This section is registered with the commissioner of disabilities,

RUJUTA HARDINI AMRUT GADA SULABHA EARLY INTERVENTION CENTRE

The Centre has children identified with delayed developmental milestones. Children above the age of 2 years attend this centre

SULABHA GUIDANCE & COUNSELING CENTRE (IN MEMORY OF LATE SMT. ZAVERBEN NANALAL TALAKSHI, COCHIN)

Information about different schemes by the government is given to the parents. The psychologist attends to this centre thrice a week.

ASHOK MODI SULABHA WORK CENTRE FOR DIVYANGJAN

This was started in September 2019 with the aim of giving job work to the trained individuals with Intellectual disabilities.

SULABHA CENTRE FOR AUTISM

As the enquiries for students identified with autism started increasing a separate section for them was started in August 2022. The Centre has 4 staff,
