44th ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION OF SULABHA TRUST FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION & RESEARCH
44th Annual Day Function of Sulabha Trust for Special Education & Research was held on Sunday 26th February 2023 at Zaverben Popatlal Sabhagraha, Ghatkopar East, Mumbai.
It was an excellent program. Mentally disabled children of Sulabha Special School performed wonderful cultural dance program. The audience was spell bound. The theme was “GLOBAL WARMING”. It was shown how with pollution illnesses are increased, how trees cutting is adding to Global Warming. The children took pledge not to throw dirt on the roads.
President Senior Psychiatrist Dr. Manilal Gada welcomed guests. Chief Guest Mr. Rakesh Shah and Guest of Honor Mr. Shankar Laxman appreciated work of Sulabha Trust. Video of daily activities of children was shown. This academic year Sulabha Centre for Autism is started. Also Computer Literacy Program is started. Mrs. Rashmi Desai presented 2022-23 school report with audio-visual presentation. Psychiatrist Dr. Dipti Shah presented activities of Sulabha Centre for Autism. She conducted the whole program.
Guests gave away prizes and certificates for best student in school, best student in Vocational Training Centre. Also Teachers, volunteers, Parents were felicitated. The concept of global Warming was of Committee Member Mrs. Manali Gudka.
